On January 27, in the area of the Grabovske village of Krasnopilska hromada, Russian FPV drones attacked civilians – a woman and a man; a resident died. People were evacuated from the settlement on sleds.

According to the 14th Army Corps, civilians tried to leave the occupied territory on their own; their route was known to Ukrainian soldiers who coordinated the evacuation.

According to official data, Russian FPV drone operators deliberately struck unarmed civilians. The first strike hit the woman, causing her instant death; the second struck a man who was near the body of the deceased.

“This incident was captured by objective monitoring systems of the Ukrainian armed forces. The video shows the absence of any military objects or persons in the zone of impact, as well as clear civilian identification of the victims (no military uniform, slow movement, use of sleds for transportation)”

On December 18, 2025, Russian servicemen entered Grabovske. According to reports, the 36th Russian Brigade abducted 52 people from the village, including children, and took 13 Ukrainian fighters prisoner.

According to DeepState project analysts, “a group resembling armed personnel who held positions there acted completely irresponsibly in carrying out tasks, and most strangely, nobody checked or supervised it. In particular, the fighters provided their service weapons to locals, behaved safely under hostile drones, and could under those same drones ‘cover a clearing’.”
