The Association of Ukrainians of the Murcia region (AURM) received an honorary award from the Union of Ukrainian Associations in Spain “KRAI” for active volunteer activity aimed at the development of the Ukrainian civic movement in Spain and strengthening interregional cooperation.

Participants and leaders of the association emphasize that this recognition is the result of the daily work of every member of the organization for the unity and support of the Ukrainian community.

About the Occasion and Details
In the Spanish city of Murcia, January 23–25, the third Congress of the Union of Ukrainian Associations in Spain “KRAI” took place, bringing together politicians, businessmen and leaders of civil-society organizations under the slogan “Ukrainian Horizon: Democracy and Unity in Action”.
The Congress gathered political figures, representatives of government, civil and business circles of the EU, Spain and Ukraine, international experts and heads of associations. It became a platform for dialogue, exchange of experience, strengthening cooperation between the Ukrainian diaspora and the homeland, coordinating efforts and discussing current issues of volunteering and civic activity, as well as strengthening cooperation between Ukraine, Spain and the EU.
