A Slovenian delegation met with representatives of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense to present their proposals and developments in counter-drone technology, including ground-based platforms and anti-drone modules.

During the talks, Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Defense Serhiy Boyev and Slovenia’s Secretary of State for Defense Boštjan Pavlin focused on Ukraine’s current needs and the latest innovations in counter-UAV systems.

Serhiy Boyev expressed gratitude to Slovenia for participating in the PURL initiative, which plays a crucial role in supplying critical weapons and ammunition. He also thanked the Slovenian people for their military and humanitarian support.

 

 

Boštjan Pavlin announced that a new package of assistance for Ukraine is being prepared for delivery in the near future.

“Air defense systems, missiles, and counter-drone solutions save lives in Ukraine. We are ready to cooperate and share experience to develop joint protection mechanisms,” Boyev said.

He also outlined Ukraine’s defense requirements for 2026, emphasizing the country’s readiness for mutually beneficial partnerships and exchange of expertise.
