Households across the UK are being urged to stock up with three days’ worth of food ahead of Tuesday, as forecasts warn that Storm Chandra is set to sweep the UK with heavy snow, strong winds and intense rainfall.
Frozen food retailer Iceland Foods is slashing the price of everyday essentials to help shoppers fill their freezers and cupboards ahead of the incoming wintery blast that is forecasted to affect 19 cities across the UK.
Available both online and in-store, Iceland and The Food Warehouse are rolling out hundreds of money saving offers to make prepping for the storm easier and cheaper.

For those needing a fast top up, Iceland is also offering same day delivery, ensuring households can stock up without stepping out into the cold.
Deals include 4 for £4.80 on popular freezer favourites, half-price discounts on everyday staples, a 5 for £5 offer on snacks and protein products and buy two get one free across key cupboard essentials, delivering big savings on family meals, treats and household favourites.
An Iceland spokesperson said: “With Storm Chandra expected to hit hard this week, we’re temporarily slashing prices in key cities to help households stock up quickly and affordably. When severe weather is on the way, the last thing shoppers should worry about is the cost of essentials”.
