Last night saw the Supernova 2026 Semi-final #1 take place in Riga, where 12 acts battled for 5 spots in the Grand Final. We have the ten Supernova 2026 finalists!

The show was hosted by Ketija Senberga, Mara Sleja and Lauris Reiniks (Latvia 2003). The following 5 acts have qualified to the Supernova 2026 Grand Final:

Emilija – «All We Ever Had»
Kautkaili – «Te un tagad»
De Mantra – «Let Them»

The 2026 Latvian Eurovision entry and act will be determined via a combined jury -public voting deliberation on Saturday 14 February.

Supernova 2026

The 2026 Latvian national selection Supernova 2026 wil consist of three live televised shows ( two semi-finals and a grand final) scheduled to be held on the following dates:

31/01/2026- Semi-final #1
07/02/2026- Semi-final #2
14/02/2026- Grand Final

The 2026 Latvian Eurovision entry and act will be determined via combined jury/ public voting deliberation. A total of 24 acts will battle it out in the 2026 Latvian national selection. 12 acts will compete in each of the two semi-finals, the top five acts from each semi-final will proceed to the Grand Final. Hence 10 acts will battle at the Grand Final for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2026.

Latvia at Eurovision

Latvia debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000 and has won the competition once in 2002 with Marie N‘s ‘I wanna‘. The Baltic country has participated at Eurovision 25 times and successfully hosted the contest in 2003 in Riga.
