Taliban-controlled media report that 350 migrant families returned to Afghanistan yesterday.
The Taliban-run Bakhtar news agency reported on Sunday, February 1, that eight families returned via Pul-e Abrasham in Nimroz, four families through Islam Qala in Herat, 20 families via Spin Boldak in Kandahar, and 318 families through Torkham in Nangarhar.
The United Nations notes that only 11 percent of returnees are employed.
Two days earlier, approximately 400 families had also returned to the country.
According to the UN, 2.8 million Afghan migrants returned from Iran and Pakistan in 2025.
