Switzerland has expressed concern over the recent US and Israeli attacks on Iran and called for calls for full respect of international law.

On Saturday, February 28, the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release that it is “deeply alarmed” about the escalation of tensions and emphasizes adherence to international law, including the UN Charter and international humanitarian law.

Switzerland urged all parties involved in the conflict to exercise maximum restraint and to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure.

The Swiss Foreign Ministry also stated that its embassy remains operational. Our good offices remain at the disposal of the parties involved.
