Vice President JD Vance speaks in Rocky Mount

Vice President JD Vance attempted to quell concerns about the price of oil right here in North Carolina.The Vice President was on the road in Rocky Mount, trying to sell the Trump administration’s economic agenda. Vance was in the Tar Heel State as President Donald Trump visited several other states, speaking about his economic agenda, highlighting tax cuts and economic growth.The Vice President also spoke about how important it is for Republicans to hold on to North Carolina’s Senate seat. He mentioned the military action in Iran and thanked the people who served.He also declined to share specifics on how he differed from the President on the strategy in Iran.Vance was last in North Carolina in September 2025, discussing public safety following the deadly stabbing of 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska on a Charlotte commuter train.
