Former royal butler Grant Harrold recently opened up about Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, and he revealed his honest opinion of the disgraced royal.
“My interactions with him were very few and far between, and when I did have any dealings with him, in fairness to him, he was polite,” Harrold said during an interview with LadBible published on Wednesday, March 18.
However, he added that he “got the feeling [Andrew] thought he was better than everyone.”
“With him he had this – I can’t even explain it to you – I just didn’t want to be in his presence,” Harrold continued. “Also, you know, from colleagues in the royal household, none of them ever had a nice thing to say about him. And I always see the good in everyone, so it’s quite sad.”
Andrew, 66, was arrested on February 19th on suspicion of misconduct in public office following allegations that he shared confidential information with Jeffrey Epstein while working as a British trade envoy. However, he has consistently denied any wrongdoing.

As the National Examiner previously reported, if Andrew is charged and convicted, he could face up to life in prison, but a source said that he wouldn’t “survive” if he “had to do jail time.”
“His lawyers are promising that they can solve this for him, that it will never reach the point where he’s facing prison, but he says he knows it’s in their interest to say that to him,” the source explained at the time. “Fact is, there really isn’t a way to make any promises and there have been legitimate arguments presented as to why the law could send him to prison.”
Instead, Andrew would rather “be proactive and get ahead of this,” the source revealed. “And for him, that means setting up an escape plan.”
