Lelek, the Croatian representatives for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, has revealed that they will have new outfits and staging for their performance in Vienna.

Lelek appeared on the talk show Kod nas doma on HTV 1 last night. The group said that they are busy with rehearsals for Eurovision right now and that they will have new outfits and staging for their performance in Vienna.

“We are guests now on Kod nas doma. Immediately after that, we have vocal rehearsals, and then interviews and stage rehearsals, it is constantly going from day to day.

There will be changes to the costumes and staging. We are adapting the performance to a larger audience and a larger stage.”

Despite the contest drawing closer, the group stated that they have not imagined what the experience will be like:

“We don’t even want to imagine how it will be. We want to absorb the first emotion when we go on stage.”

Lelek also spoke about their recent cover of “Wild Dances”, the winning entry of Eurovision 2004, and getting approval from Ruslana herself.

“It’s amazing that Ruslana sent us congratulations herself. It was crazy to see her comment. It’s still unreal for us.”

Lelek were selected to represent Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with “Andromeda” after winning Dora 2026. They won both the jury and public votes in the final. Lelek will perform in the first half of the first semi-final on May 12.

Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest+

Croatia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993. They were one of three countries to debut in the contest that year. Croatia’s best result came in 2024 when Baby Lasgana finished 2nd in Malmö. He performed the song “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” which scored a total of 547 points, including 12 points from the juries in Cyprus and Serbia, and 9 sets of 12 points from the public vote.
