We were so pleased to welcome Tom Barkin, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, to Spindale recently as part of his visit to communities across western North Carolina. Also, thank you to Dogwood Health Trust for helping coordinate the visit and for being such a strong partner in this work. The focus of the day was Spindale’s ongoing community revitalization efforts, especially the creation of new affordable housing that’s making a real difference for our residents.
