Eurovision is back! Delegations have landed/arrived in Vienna these last few days and rehearsals started last weekend. Just like last year, for the first rehearsal, the EBU releases information on the day of each reharsal, with a sets of three photographs publishe the day after. As such, today, we cover yesterday’s rehearsals, from the first half of the second semi-final (automatic qualifiers excluded). And the fifth act from yesterday was Czechia’s “CROSSROADS”.

What happened on stage?

For this rehearsal, Daniel was wearing blue trousers with a blue shirt, but the Czech delegation stated that other outfits may be tried during the upcoming rehearsals. Just like in the videoclip, Daniel is performing barefoot. The performance revolves around a four-piece prop made of mirrors, which are moved by four stage hands who never appear on camera. These mirrors allow for a lot of light and visual effects, of a classic but assumedly efficient nature The official description also confirms what we’ve assumed since the promotion season, that Daniel’s vocals are completely on point
