LYNN HAVEN, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Lynn Haven Police Department is hosting a public safety “Touch A Truck” event on Saturday, May 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Lynn Haven Sports Complex located at 2201 Recreation Drive, Lynn Haven, Florida.
Complimentary hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, snacks, and drinks will be available while supplies last.(Lynn Haven Police Department)
Kids can climb inside and explore public safety vehicles including:
Patrol vehiclesFire trucksRescue trucks and ambulancesSWAT and specialty equipmentK-9 unitsBoats and Ocean Rescue equipmentDrone teamsSide-by-sides and additional emergency response vehicles
Complimentary hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, snacks, and drinks will be available while supplies last.
This is a family-friendly event that’s free and open to the public.
The Lynn Haven Police Department says the event is all about building positive relationships with the community. They hope families will come out for a day of “fun, education, and community connection.”
