RTÉ is braced for a fresh payments scandal amid revelations of a staff member’s salary not being properly accounted for.
The development is hugely embarrassing in the wake of the separate Ryan Tubridy payments scandal.
The latest incident is not as complex and is being put down to an inadvertent failure.
The staff member’s salary for presenting a programme was listed in official figure but money they were paid for producing was not included.
