Libyan authorities have repatriated a group of Sudanese displaced persons through Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli, as part of ongoing efforts to return foreign nationals to their home countries.

The Interior Ministry of the Government of National Unity said the operation was carried out in coordination with the Sudanese embassy, following the completion of necessary procedures to ensure a safe and orderly return.

The ministry said the move came at the request of the Sudanese government and in line with the wishes of those displaced, adding that a dedicated committee has been formed to oversee the process in accordance with legal frameworks.
