The airline responded in the comments twice, thanking Perry and asking her to share more details.
“Hello Katy, thank you for taking the time to share this. If you wouldn’t mind sending us a DM with more details so that we may share this with the crew,” the airline wrote.
Air Canada added: “We will make sure to send you kind words to the team onboard. We are sure they will be more than happy to see this.”
Perry’s post has been viewed 2.5 million times since May 23, generating more than 34,400 likes, 1,500 comments and 2,100 retweets.
Perry and Trudeau made their first public appearance as a couple in October 2025 at her 41st birthday celebration in Paris. She went Instagram-official with the relationship in December, posting a photo and video with Trudeau while on tour in Tokyo.
Can we assume the singer will be a frequent flyer on Air Canada from now on? It’s too early to tell. But for the airline, the glowing review from one of pop music’s biggest stars is certainly music to its ears.
