HILTON HEAD ISLAND, Sc. (WTOC) – Local business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs are invited to take part in Money Talks, a free, six-part seminar series designed to help participants start, strengthen, and sustain their businesses.
Now in its third year, the series is sponsored by the Gullah Geechee Historic Neighborhoods Community Development Corporation (CDC) and features expert-led sessions covering topics such as financing, legal and tax matters, fraud prevention, and strategies for competing for government contracts.
“Business education is critical for small business owners, whether they are just getting started or looking for ways to grow,” said Thomas Boxley, Executive Director of the CDC. “For the third year, we have partnered with local, regional and state organizations to provide aspiring and seasoned entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.”
Participants may attend all six sessions or choose the sessions most relevant to their needs.
