An evening operational briefing recorded hundreds of engagements and large-scale drone usage, while commanders reported fierce fighting and battlefield losses across multiple sectors.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 22:00 in a post on social media.

Overall since the start of this day there have been 205 combat clashes. The enemy launched two missile strikes using two missiles, performed 49 air strikes, and dropped 154 guided air bombs. In addition, it engaged 6,029 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,083 shellings of settlements and our troops’ positions

Timeline of combat operations by direction

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kurs direction there were three engagements with the enemy recorded. The enemy carried out 38 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops.

During this day, on the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked our units’ positions in the Izbytsky direction and in the areas of the settlements of Liman, Starytsia and Vovchansk 10 times. Three clashes are ongoing.

On the Kupiansk direction today the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces five times in the direction of Kurylivka, Shykivka and Mala Shapkivka.

To advance on the Lyman direction, the invaders launched 16 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Novoselivka, Yampil, Ozernе and toward Olhivka, Drobysheve and Dibrova. Three clashes are still ongoing.

On the Sloviansk direction the Defense Forces stopped 12 attempts by the invaders to advance near Riznykivka, Kalynykiv, Zakitne and toward the settlements Ray–Oleksandrivka, Kryva Luka, Pyskunivka. One more clash is ongoing.

One enemy assault was recorded on the Kramatorsk direction, where the enemy tried to push our defenders from their positions near the village of Minkivka.

On the Kostyantynivka direction the Defense Forces repelled 16 enemy assaults near the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Illivnivka, Ivanopillya, Pleshchiivka and toward the settlement of Kucheriv Yar.

In total, the enemy carried out 20 attacks on the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas of the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Rodynske, Kotline, Udachne and toward the settlements of Novo Donbas, Bilytske, Shevchenko, Novopavlivka. Two clashes continue to this day.

According to preliminary counts, today 40 occupiers were eliminated and 8 were wounded; one artillery system, one ground robotic complex, five units of automotive equipment, and one unit of enemy special equipment were destroyed. Two artillery systems, five units of automotive equipment, and 22 enemy shelter points were damaged. A total of 230 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

In the Oleksandrivka direction our defenders stopped one enemy attack toward Sichneve.

In the Huliaipivka direction there were 25 enemy attacks against the settlements of Dobropillya, Huliaipillske, Vozdvyzhivka, Zaliznychne, Rizdvianка, Charivne. Two clashes are ongoing.

In the Orikhiv direction the enemy attacked our defenders once in the vicinity of Stepnohirsk.

Since the start of the day, no enemy assault actions have been recorded in the Prydniprovski direction.

There were no significant changes in the situation on other directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine summarized.

According to the General Staff, the total combat losses of the Russian army from February 24, 2022 to June 21, 2026 have reached about 1,391,950 people.

The front line situation remains tense; Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy’s advances and repel attacks.
