Isn’t this how most jobs in public services are now? People go to get the experience and leave the second something better comes up
When you see the effort other countries are going to in order to recruit anyone in health care you would be silly to not consider it jumping ship. Better salaries, less hours and respect. You’ll need a good reason not too.
Sadly, the government need to learn that they are competing for people on the world stage now. Paying people a fraction of their worth and working them to the bone just isn’t attractive, funnily enough.
Let’s be honest.
The students getting accepted to study medicine are often exemplary. With their grades (and often social/economical status) they can easily get into degrees and industries that pay similar or better salaries.
