Maurizio Sarri | In Juventus, we should have won the Champions League with a team that was at the end of the winning cycle, and with a management that hired me because they wanted to change the style of play, but they were not convinced of it, coming back to Italy was a mistake

  1. He is right, managment lost it completely after Cardiff. They didnt know what to do anymore. Team absolutely was at the end of winning cycle, Ronaldo wasnt necessary and signing him just added pressure to already old team to win CL. What happened next firstly was too harsh decision to sack Allegri, then this wanting to change the style but not fully commiting to it. Sarri should have been given more time and players which needed to be replaced if you want to change the style. Then rookie Pirlo where he also didnt get enough time and now we back to somerhing that always worked and didnt need a change on a first place.

Allegri with his managment got us titles every season, made us great in Europe and in the end in 2018. he wasnt the problem at all. They just wanted to make switch too fast and without needed steps. Now Allegri is building stabile team with managment insisting on younger players. Once the time come for Allegri to leave, we wont need to change whole team like it should happened last time, before Sarri.
