Huge swell batters California coast | DW News
Well the water came over the wall and you probably saw from many of the videos that it washed down the street like it was a river and of course that turned and went into our complex uh and fluttered it completely so we’re all trying to recoup from yesterday’s water
And prepare ourselves as best as possible for tomorrow we had the biggest waves we’ve had in many years and we were we always look forward to the big waves but Mother Nature had a little more than we had planned for and so I did not surf
Yesterday I was helping on the with the with the neighbors and just making sure everyone was safe and we actually um picked a few people out of the water
Waves battered the California coast over the last two days and the National Weather Service expects more storm surge to cause problems for coastal communities this weekend.

In Canada the winter has been unusually and irregularly warmer.
In California, the ocean waves self identify as rivers
This may be an early sign of catastrophic climate change. We have to speed up cutting down oil consumption.
