Video captured the moment domestic assault convict Deobra Redden, 30, vaulted over the bench to attack Judge Mary Kay Holthus in the Las Vegas, Nevada court Wednesday.

Redden was in the Clark County District Court being sentenced for an attempted battery charge with substantial bodily harm when the attack took place.

He pleaded guilty to the crime in November and was arrested in December after missing a court appearance.

  1. I thought that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, and it not supposed to be show on every media outlet every 6 minutes.

  2. Most everyone who's ever stood before a Judge ready to sentence them for punishment likely gave at least a momentary thought to do what this fellow did in that Courtroom. Of course what he did was wrong, but I can understand his feelings of frustration insofar as if what he said in Court is true about how he has been working to reform his life. Even with the beating he took from the security personnel in the Court, I'll bet he went to sleep that night feeling pretty good about what he had done.

When he gets out of prison, an NFL team should give him a tryout. His leaping and tackling abilities as displayed in that Courtroom could probably qualify him to be an All-Pro linebacker. Or perhaps he could get a job on a Congressional Committee to exercise the same response whenever a government official like the guys in charge of the FBI or Homeland Seurity come back to perpetuate more lies and obfuscations under questioning from Congress.

Now wouldn't that be a sight to behold, to see the FBI Director get clothslined when he claims there were no FBI agitators in the January 6th crowd, or to see the Homeland Security Director get blasted out of his chair when he says there is no invasion of the US at the southern border ? It certainly would add some life to the otherwise boring Committee hearings.

  3. I like how the bailiffs mid way decided to give this man a beat down. A judge may be snarky, but it’s never okay to topple a woman especially an old and frail one. Bro had that comin a mile away.

  4. I would love if she had a xxxxxx at her side and then at the same time he jumps over she xxxxx him back. Kind of judge Dredd.
