  1. What about all the other floods we've had, what about the promises of billions of pounds invested in flood defence does this comic just make things up or copy the other rubbish ? Where is the reporting on pass flooding, dredging rivers, cleaning drains this rubbish is not fit to be called a newspaper

  2. The people in these areas obviously don't mind the flooding. If they did they'd vote for someone who'll actually do something about it. I mean, this isn't difficult. Just double the height of flood defences, triple the size of drains and get them cleaned more regularly because they're far too small and they're always blocked.

  3. Was it in April of last year that the government hijacked our phones to test out an emergency warning? Why has it never been used?

  4. We build more houses, we buid more roads , we build more warehouses, and divert all the rain water into the river and on top of that as we build a towns flood defences higher we pass the problem downstream to the next town.
Why are we surprised with flooding?.

  5. Here in NL it’s been raining as bad as the Uk. I’d only say here they know how to manage it, there has been very minor flooding where a dam broke. Everyone is shouting dredging and that alone would make a world of difference. They are always dredging here even at the small canal outside our house. Just how many rivers have disappeared in the Uk over the last 200 years. The Uk is over populated and the infrastructure can’t cope with anything including the weather.

  6. Simple, clean road drains and gullies and dredge rivers like we used to. No floods back then. Climate change my arse, maintenance cut backs more like.

  7. Every year Britain puts up with this while Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury gets a Knighthood off King Charles for speaking up for letting in a bigger Invasion of Illegal Immigrants & making us pay to house them in 4☆ Hotels, Feed Them, Clothe Them & also give them Pocket Money.

All while Pensioners are spending all day in bed because they can't afford to heat their homes.

    Great isn't it!
Why don't we all march down to London & kick out ALL the Politicians?

  8. 2024 blessings for human for all sanctions all hate all anger all judgments but this is just beginning of January 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 good luck 😃

  9. well,Always get some who think they be good enough to drive through floods that deep,End up stuck in the flood,Happens every year,Do any one ever learn,Don't look like it

  10. Why we have such problems with flooding
1 we used to dredge the rivers this removed silt mud and other debris giving better depth and flow
2 we used to clean gutters and drains along the roads to allow excess water to flow away
3 come summer we will have hosepipe ban's
do something to clear what we don't want and build something to store what we do or is this to simple for this country
