In a follow-up on the malaria outbreak in Namibia, The Namibia Ministry of Health recently declared an end to the malaria outbreak.
On 23 December 2024, the Ministry of Health and Social Services issued a Public Notice informing the nation about the increasing number of Malaria cases in most of Namibia’s malaria-endemic regions. By 27 July 2025, Namibia reported 95,412 malaria cases and 152 deaths (CFR 0.2%).
