Namibia Post Limited (NamPost) has added additional payout dates for child cash grant beneficiaries.

In-branch payouts will be available on Friday, 9 January and Saturday, 10 January at all NamPost post offices nationwide.

“This initiative aims to provide timely financial assistance to families, enabling them to address their children’s needs as the 2026 school year approaches,” NamPost spokesperson Gladwin Groenewaldt said in a statement yesterday.

Child cash grants will also be available from 15 to 17 January, as previously announced by NamPost.

In addition, NamPost began mobile payment operations this week.

“To minimise unnecessary travel, it is important to note that mobile payment teams commenced operations on the 6 January, and distribution of payments at paypoints will continue as announced on radio,” Groenewaldt said.

Old age and disability grants will be available from NamPost from 12 to 14 January, and basic income cash grants will be available from 19 to 20 January.
