The 2025 Zimbabwe Schools Examination Council (ZIMSEC) Advanced Level results recorded an increase, according to data released.
First of all, there was an increase in the number of people who sat for exams.
November 2025 candidates went up from 33,585 to 36,635, an increase of 3,050 or 9.08%.
33,246 of those wrote two or more subjects, with 31,443 obtaining a Grade E or better in two or more subjects. That represents a pass rate of 94.58%, edging ip by 1.17% from 2024.
For private candidates, te total number was 5,234, up from 4,544 in 2024.
5,036 of these wrote two or more subjects, wut 4,571 getting Grade E or better in two or more subjects. That is a pas srate of 90.77%, beating last years 90.52%.
The results become available online from Friday at 1600 hrs.
Candidates can go to www.zimsec.co.zw. Enter your details issued to you by ZIMSEC to access results.
The portal will be open for five days after which candidates can access results from their examination centres.
Heads of examination centres will be able to collect the results for their respective schools/centres from our regional offices on Monday, 12 January, 2026.
