POLICE have confirmed the arrest of a Harare man, who was found in possession of a wad of counterfeit US$20 notes amounting to US$400.
The 34-year-old suspect was identified as Admire Gweshegweshe of Epworth.
Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) national spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident.
“Admire Gweshegweshe (34) was arrested at a school in Kubatana, Epworth, after being found in possession of counterfeit USD notes amounting to US$400 in US$20 denominations, all bearing the same serial number: PH73531173C.
“The suspect is being charged for possession of articles for criminal use,” said Nyathi.
