Ethiopia, 11 January 2026 – The Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) has kicked off its second central committee session in Jigjiga focusing on evaluating the organization’s performance and gearing up for national elections.
The three-day meeting, which opened on Saturday, will review progress over the last six months and chart way forward.
In a media statement, ONLF Deputy Chairman Ahmed Abdullahi said the meeting will also discuss the organizational structure as part of its preparations for the elections scheduled for this year.
“This meeting is crucial for evaluating the party’s performance and ensuring our readiness for the upcoming elections,” said Abdullahi.
