A 42-year-old man will appear in the Alberton Magistrates’ court on Monday after the body of his wife was found in the boot of her car.
Police arrested the man on Saturday after his wife was reported missing on Friday.
The woman’s body was found in the boot of her white BMW parked at a shopping complex in Alberton on the East Rand.
It is alleged that the husband murdered his wife and stuffed her body into the boot of her vehicle.
According to police, the woman was found inside the boot of her vehicle parked at a shopping complex in Brackendowns.
Members of SAPS Serious and Violent Crimes investigation arrested the husband and he faces a charge of murder.
