KUWAIT: Namaa Charity, affiliated with the Social Reform Society, announced on Tuesday the opening of a comprehensive Islamic center in Dodoma, Tanzania, aimed at serving more than 250 beneficiaries. The center, which spans 200 square meters, is part of ongoing efforts to support underprivileged communities and strengthen the role of educational and religious institutions in human development, according to Khaled Al-Shamari, Head of the Development and Relief Sector at Namaa Charity. In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Al-Shamari said the project was implemented in response to local needs in Dodoma for integrated educational and religious facilities.
He explained that the center includes a mosque with a capacity of around 170 worshippers, in addition to classrooms that can accommodate 80 male and female students for the study of the Holy Quran and Islamic sciences. The facility also features integrated services designed to provide a suitable environment for both learning and worship. Al-Shamari stressed that Namaa Charity continues to implement development projects across Africa, with the aim of improving living standards and promoting social stability in vulnerable communities. — KUNA
