Impressive, effective, frightening, all the superlatives are good to qualify Nigeria for the AFCON 2025. The Super Eagles like to have the ball to hurt the opponent. But against Morocco tomorrow in the semi-final, the team could play against nature.
«We saw during this competition that it was complicated for Morocco when they faced teams playing in a low block. So we could start the match like that,”
said Eric Chelle, Nigeria’s coach, in a press conference on Tuesday.
Although he recognizes the strength of Morocco, Eric Chelle only has the qualification in mind. «Morocco is the biggest test for Nigeria. We are ready. We approach each match as if it were the last one. Algeria and Morocco are two very different teams. Walid Regragui is not Vladimir Petković. It’s up to me to do everything to win this match tomorrow,” he said.
Nigeria – Morocco, it is this Wednesday at 8pm GMT at the Prince Moulay Abdellah stadium in Rabat.
