In Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee investigating corruption in the police and criminal justice system, the committee is expected to hear the testimony of Crime Intelligence boss Dumisani Khumalo today.

After thousands of children were not placed in schools by the beginning of the school year yesterday, the Gauteng Department of Education has assured parents that their children will soon be placed. 

While some have been advised to give the Department 10 days to resolve the placements, others have been told to return to the district education offices on Friday.
