Lynette Cilliers (56), a Brakpan North resident, wife, mother, grandmother and national marketing manager, was recently nominated for the Women of Stature awards.
She is nominated for a national award in the Women in Coaching and Mentoring category. She inspires women across South Africa and beyond with her Faith Over Fear foundation.
Currently serving as national marketing manager for Home Corp and Furnmart, she oversees two major retail brands across South Africa, Namibia and Botswana, a journey which began in Springs.
Beyond her full-time corporate role, her impact reaches far into the community and women’s empowerment initiatives.

As a breast cancer survivor, she transformed her personal journey into purpose by founding Faith over Fear Cancer Talks, events hosted over weekends that offer encouragement, hope and practical support to women facing cancer.
“By the grace of God, I am healed from cancer. He gets all the honour and glory. I want to testify with my windmill story that is close to my heart,” Lynette said.
Since 2020, she has been a dedicated fundraiser for Look Good, Feel Better, an organisation that supports cancer patients.
She receives no personal compensation, and all funds raised go directly to the organisation.
Her passion for mentorship is evident through her role as mentor for Miss Springs in 2024 and 2025, where she invested time and wisdom into developing confident, purpose-driven young women.
She is actively involved in the Street Shower programme, restoring dignity to those in need and without a home, and also serves faithfully at Redeemed Life.
She has received several awards and recognitions, including the East Rand Women in Business Awards in the overall and Most Compassionate categories, as well as the Women of the Year award.
She also won Influential Woman of the Year at the Imbokodo Awards.

The Women of Stature platform offers Lynette an opportunity to reach more women and inspire them.
“I am committed to using this platform to amplify my message of faith, service and empowerment, helping more women rise, grow and shine in their lives,” Lynette explained.
“My life mission is to serve God, create hope, restore dignity and empower women to rise together, because true stature is measured by the lives we uplift.”
