Wayne Eugene Haugh, 93, of Cairo, WV, departed this life Aug. 15, 2026, at Camden Clark Medical Center.
He was born April 14, 1933, at Gillespie, Ritchie County, WV the son of the late Harley M. and Lelia Margaret Michaels Haugh.
Wayne was a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked for 35 years as a production Foreman at Dupont before retiring. He was the former owner of Country Trails Bike Shop in Cairo and worked with his son at David’s Backhoe Service. He was a member of Cairo Masonic Lodge #114 AF&AM. He loved fishing, racing, woodworking, horses and dogs.
He is survived by children, David Haugh (Sherry) of Harrisville, Brenda Sue Nichols of Harrisville, Gary Haugh (Debra) of Cairo, Daughter-in-law Joyce Haugh of Cairo and Mark Haugh (Barbara) of Cairo; grandchildren, Amy Vannoy (Keith), Ryan Haugh (Anna), Teresa Nicholson (Terry), Mindy Keith (Bobby), Becky Haugh, Greg Haugh, Chance Haugh (Heather), Jessica Cooper (Adam), and Jaccie Haugh (Camryn Duncan); seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Eva Nell “Peg” Haugh; son, James Michael Haugh; great granddaughter, Carlie Janelle “CJ” McIntosh; brother Rondall Haugh; and sister, Patricia Morgan.
