Salah Eddine Makdour founded Notiverse in 2023, an app that centralizes text, audio and image-based notes on smartphones.
Notiverse operates entirely offline, storing users’ content locally without requiring an account or sending data to remote servers.
Makdour also launched Syllabri in 2025, an AI-powered education platform designed to help students prepare for exams.

Salah Eddine Makdour (pictured) is an Algerian artificial intelligence expert and entrepreneur. He founded Notiverse in 2023 and developed the mobile application to simplify note-taking and personal data organization.

The application centralizes the capture of different types of content, including text, audio recordings and images. Users can therefore save ideas and important information directly on their smartphones without having to switch between multiple applications.

The system uses automation to organize stored data. It classifies content according to context and creation date, while keyword tags and an advanced search engine with filters help users retrieve information.

Notiverse also differentiates itself through an entirely offline architecture. The application stores all content locally on the user’s device and does not require an account or remote servers. This design provides users with a high level of control over their personal data and limits exposure to external data storage.

Beyond Notiverse: An educational ambition

Alongside his work at Notiverse, Salah Eddine Makdour works as a software engineer at Dusens Research, an Algerian marketing research and consumer analytics firm. He also launched Syllabri in 2025, an artificial intelligence-powered education platform that aims to improve students’ exam preparation.

Makdour holds a degree in artificial intelligence and data engineering from Algeria’s National School of Artificial Intelligence (ENSIA). He also founded the ENSIA Tech Community scientific club in 2022 and remained involved with the organization until 2024.

During that period, he successively served as a full-stack developer, human resources director and president.
