Vice President, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has extended warm wishes to Ghanaians on the occasion of Valentine’s Day, urging citizens to celebrate with proudly made-in-Ghana chocolate.

In a message shared on Facebook on February 14, marking both Chocolate Day and Valentine’s Day, she encouraged Ghanaians to use the occasion not only to express love and appreciation but also to support the country’s cocoa industry.

“Happy Chocolate Day and Happy Valentine’s Day to all Ghanaians. Today, as we celebrate love, kindness, and appreciation, let us also honour one of Ghana’s finest gifts to the world: our premium cocoa and chocolate,” she stated.

The Vice President added that there was no better way to commemorate the day than by choosing locally produced chocolate.

“There is no sweeter way to mark this day than by choosing made-in-Ghana chocolate proudly. Share love. Share chocolate. Choose Ghana,” she urged.
