Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has left its fate in the hands of Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, and he will decide whether the Men in Green will take part in the 2026 T20 World Cup. A final decision about their participation will be out in the next few days. PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi on Monday (January 26) took to X and revealed that he met the PM. “Had a productive meeting with the Prime Minister … Shehbaz Sharif. Briefed him on the ICC matter, and he directed that we resolve it while keeping all options on the table. It was agreed that the final decision will be taken either on Friday or next Monday,” he posted on X.
