The new India pages will act as a central hub for market-relevant updates, destination insights, curated itineraries, and product storytelling tailored for Indian tour operators, travel agents, MICE planners, and industry stakeholders. The move reflects KTB’s strategic focus on strengthening digital engagement and trade alignment in one of its fastest-growing source markets.

India remains a high-potential, long-term growth market for Kenya. In 2025, outbound travel from India showed stable growth and higher-quality conversions, with travellers increasingly opting for longer stays, private safaris, customised itineraries, and multi-experience journeys. This shift from volume-led to value-driven travel has further emphasised the need for targeted engagement and localised content delivery.

Through the new social media channels, KTB aims to provide regular destination updates, showcase Signature Experiences, highlight seasonal products, and share market-specific visuals and itineraries that the trade community can use for client engagement and itinerary planning.

The platforms will also promote training sessions, webinars, and trade initiatives, helping travel partners stay informed about Kenya’s expanding tourism portfolio.

While Kenya continues to be recognised globally for its wildlife and safari experiences, the destination’s positioning in India is evolving towards a multi-experiential narrative that includes coastal escapes, cultural tourism, golf, wellness in nature, celebrations, and luxury travel. This broader approach aligns with the changing preferences of Indian travellers seeking depth, flexibility, and bespoke experiences.

Digital outreach will complement Kenya’s on-ground B2B initiatives, ensuring that inspiration shared online is matched by trade readiness and experiential delivery.
