A man was shot in Rhodesfield this afternoon, January 13.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear at this stage.
First responders from Kempton Park-based emergency response group Share It Live were dispatched to the scene shortly before 16:00.
Response officers from Praesidium Securitas and Jungle Boys Security were the first to arrive and rendered vital first aid to the victim until medical assistance arrived.

Share It Live expressed appreciation to Jungle Boys Security, Praesidium Securitas, Rescue 19, ER24, Netcare 911, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD), the South African Police Service (SAPS), and Blue Hawk Tactical for their swift response.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital. His condition remains unknown at this stage.
Both the EMPD and SAPS have been approached for comment. Any information received will be included in follow-up reporting.
