Accra, Jan. 04, GNA–Apostle Peter Okoe Mankralo, the Immediate Past President of The Apostolic Church-Ghana, has called on Ghanaians to embrace love, integrity, and unity as the foundation for national renewal in 2026.

Delivering a New Year’s address on theme: “Manifest God’s Glory,” Apostle Mankralo urged citizens to translate Ghana’s Christian identity into tangible national character, warning that hatred, indiscipline, corruption, greed, and self-centeredness remained obstacles to divine blessing and progress.

“We must live above partisan divisions that breed acrimony,” he declared, stressing that Christian love must serve as the essential bond for societal harmony.

The cleric urged professionals abroad to return home and contribute to nation-building, warning against the lure of occultism and cyber fraud and condemning corruption and illegal mining (‘galamsey’) as existential threats to Ghana’s future.

His message, both spiritual and civic roadmap, concluded with a prayer for divine blessing on the nation’s journey in the year ahead.

In a parallel New Years’ service, Apostle Dr. Samuel Obeng Manteaw of the Calvary District, Apostolic Church-Ghana, Madina Area, challenged both leadership and citizens to unite in pursuit of the common good.

He urged the Executive, Parliament, and Judiciary to set aside partisan interests and focus solely on national growth and development.

“There must be an attitudinal change at all levels, especially in our workplaces,” Apostle Dr. Manteaw emphasised.

“We must abandon habits that retard progress and commit to actions that accelerate development,” he added.

Linking prosperity to moral and spiritual faithfulness, he reminded Ghanaians that living according to God’s purpose was essential for success in the coming year.

Quoting scripture, he said: “His goodness shall follow us all the days of our lives. Therefore, let us work diligently in all our endeavours—whether in government, ministry, or private enterprise—and do everything for the glory of God,” he stated.

He concluded by calling on every citizen to prioritise the nation’s welfare, avoid divisive partisanship, and unite for the shared cause of growth and prosperity.
