A 22-year-old security guard, identified as Webisa Marvin, has been remanded to Luzira Prison after appearing before the Kampala City Hall Court in connection with the death of TikTok influencer Namulinde Diana, popularly known as Diana Skyz.
Webisa was arraigned on three capital charges, rape, aggravated robbery, and murder. The court heard that the offences are only triable by the High Court.
Prosecution alleges that the suspect was arrested after being found in possession of some of the deceased’s property, linking him to the crime.
Due to the gravity of the charges, the City Hall Court did not allow him to enter a plea and instead remanded him to Luzira Prison.
He is expected to return to court on March 3, 2026, for mention of the case as investigations continue.
The death of Diana Skyz sparked widespread concern among her followers and the public, as authorities work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
