Zimbabwe recorded 496,668 tourist arrivals in the third quarter of 2025, up from 450,922 a year earlier, marking a 10.1% increase, according to Zimstat. The trend highlights the country’s rising appeal after being named “World’s Best Country to Visit 2025” by Forbes.
In 2024, Zimbabwe welcomed over 1.6 million international tourists, generating US$1.2 billion in revenue and attracting US$190.5 million in investments, according to the Ministry of Tourism. Growing hotel occupancy rates further confirm tourism as a key driver of economic growth.
