For those who\u2019ve been talking about planning that Cairo trip for years, this is a gentle nudge. Saudi Arabia\u2019s newest national airline, Riyadh Air<\/a>, has confirmed the launch of daily flights to the Egyptian capital, as it continues to expand its route network.<\/p>\n

While an exact launch date for the Cairo service hasn\u2019t been confirmed just yet, the new service will operate from Riyadh using the airline\u2019s fleet of state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.<\/p>\n

Believe it or not, flights between Riyadh and Cairo are among the busiest in the world, with 2.7 million passengers recorded last year.<\/p>\n

For Saudi-based travellers, Cairo has long served multiple roles: a cultural escape, a weekend city break, a business hub, or a reunion point for friends and family. And Riyadh Air\u2019s new route simply adds another way to get there.<\/p>\n

Even better, the journey itself is refreshingly manageable. The flight from Riyadh to Cairo clocks in at approximately 3 hours and 10 minutes, while the return is even kinder, coming in at just under three hours.<\/p>\n

Cairo joins a growing list of destinations for the fledgling airline, adding to the previously announced services to London-Heathrow and Dubai.<\/p>\n

The airline is currently in its \u201cPathway to Perfect\u201d operational readiness phase and is poised to launch commercial service imminently following aircraft delivery.<\/p>\n

Riyadh Air aims to connect guests to over 100 destinations worldwide by 2030, with more new routes expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
