He is also facing federal charges in Minnesota that include conspiracy to distribute <a href=\"https:\/\/krocnews.com\/tags\/fentanyl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">fentanyl <\/a>resulting in death, distribution of fentanyl resulting in death, and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.<\/p>\n<p>sasun bughdaryan<\/p>\n<p>sasun bughdaryanCase Connected to Minnesota Woman&#8217;s Death<\/p>\n<p>According to the Sheriff\u2019s Office, the <a href=\"https:\/\/krocnews.com\/tags\/willmar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Willmar<\/a> man was charged in state court following an investigation into the death of 19-year-old Samantha Myers at a residence near the town of New London. Mire was arraigned in Kandiyohi County Court on charges of second-degree <a href=\"https:\/\/krocnews.com\/tags\/manslaughter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">manslaughter<\/a> and third-degree <a href=\"https:\/\/krocnews.com\/tags\/murder\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">murder<\/a>, along with two counts of first-degree <a href=\"https:\/\/krocnews.com\/tags\/drugs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">drug <\/a>sales and one count of second-degree drug possession.<\/p>\n<p>Getty Ima (Photo by Chip Somodevilla\/Getty Images)ges<\/p>\n<p>Getty Ima (Photo by Chip Somodevilla\/Getty Images)gesInternational Effort Led to Arrest<\/p>\n<p>After posting bail, Mire fled Minnesota and left the United States. The Sheriff\u2019s Office says its investigators, along with the <a href=\"https:\/\/krocnews.com\/tags\/minnesota-bureau-of-criminal-apprehension\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/krocnews.com\/tags\/FBI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">FBI<\/a>, and the U.S. Marshals Service, eventually located him in Kenya last October.
