In a press statement released by the State Department, Secretary of State Marco Rubio criticized the targeted institutions as “redundant,” “mismanaged,” and “unnecessary.” He argued that what began as a framework for global peace has “morphed into a sprawling architecture of global governance, often dominated by progressive ideology and detached from national interests.”<\/p>\n
