{"id":13452,"date":"2026-01-09T15:12:07","date_gmt":"2026-01-09T15:12:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/13452\/"},"modified":"2026-01-09T15:12:07","modified_gmt":"2026-01-09T15:12:07","slug":"tanzanias-edutrack-launches-ai-powered-digital-education-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/africa\/13452\/","title":{"rendered":"Tanzania\u2019s EduTrack launches AI-powered digital education system"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tanzania\u2019s EduTrack has launched an AI-powered digital education system created to modernise and strengthen learning across Africa.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Launched in September last year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edutrack-ai.online\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">EduTrack<\/a> integrates advanced technology into everyday education by offering AI study support, automated exam preparation,\u00a0instant summaries, problem-solving, student performance analytics, and digital academic tools for schools.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a complete digital academic ecosystem built for African learners and institutions,\u201d founder Lordrick Julius Meela told Disrupt Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Most African schools lack affordable, locally-tailored AI study systems.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGaps included weak tech integration, lack of performance tracking, and expensive foreign tools not aligned with African syllabi. Competition includes general LMS platforms and foreign edtech tools, but none offer AI built specifically for African education needs,\u201d Meela said.<\/p>\n<p>Uptake has been strong, especially among Form 2 and Form 4 students preparing for national exams, teachers seeking performance insights, and schools focused on digital transformation. Currently only operating in Tanzania, EduTrack has expansion plans in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, and broader East and Southern Africa.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRevenue streams include school subscriptions, premium AI tools for students, custom integrations, and advanced analytics dashboards.
