Tanzania Coach: I Know Rekraki Well and Facing the Host Country is a Motivation for Us<\/p>\n
Miguel Gamondi, head coach of the Tanzania national team, confirmed that facing the host country\u2019s team will be a great motivation for his team to achieve victory.<\/p>\n
Morocco will face Tanzania tomorrow, Sunday, in the round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations.<\/p>\n
Gamondi said in the pre-match press conference: “I know Rekraki well, and facing the host country is a motivation for us to deliver a positive result against a strong team with good players.”<\/p>\n
He continued: “Our goal is to achieve a positive result against the Moroccan team. I have spent a long part of my life here, I know the atmosphere and everything. The level of professional players in Europe is high, and we will play to seek qualification.”<\/p>\n
He added: “We know the match will be played in front of a large crowd, but Tanzanian players are also used to this.”<\/p>\n
Regarding his knowledge of Moroccan football, he said: “That alone is not enough; we must be ready. Several factors come into play in football matches.
