The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has summoned
\nRoy Sasaka Telewa, Chief Executive Officer of the National Government
\nAffirmative Action Fund (NGAAF), over allegations of possessing unexplained
\nwealth valued at approximately Ksh.1 billion.<\/p>\n

The summons follows a search operation conducted at his
\nresidence and office on January 8, 2026, as part of an ongoing probe into
\nsuspected corruption.<\/p>\n

EACC says the operation led to the recovery of critical
\nevidentiary material to support investigations.<\/p>\n

Mr. Sasaka was expected at Integrity Centre on Friday to
\nrecord a statement to aid the inquiry over reports of procurement
\nirregularities and alleged accumulation of unexplained assets between January
\n1, 2021 and January 8, 2026.<\/p>\n

The commission is also focusing on procurement issues linked
\nto his tenure at the Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC).<\/p>\n

Telewa has previously served as Chief Executive Officer of the
\nNational Youth Council, Head of Procurement at KDIC, and Deputy Head of
\nProcurement at the Competition Authority of Kenya.<\/p>\n

EACC says once investigations are concluded, the findings will
\ndetermine the next course of action, which may include prosecution if
\nculpability is established, forfeiture of unexplained assets and confiscation
