The Business and Intellectual Property Authority (Bipa) has appointed Ainna Kaundu as chief executive, effective January for a period of five years.<\/p>\n

Kaundu was the executive of intellectual property services in the authority with 18 years of work experience across the private and public sector.<\/p>\n

She holds a master of law in international trade and investment law from the University of Pretoria, an LLB from the University of Namibia and is an admitted legal practitioner.<\/p>\n

Board chairperson Immanuel !Hanabeb says Kaundu demonstrated exceptional judgement and professionalism during her tenure as acting chief executive, hence the appointment.<\/p>\n
