Their\u00a0first stop was at Life<br \/>\nClinic, where officials found the structure had been repainted and the wanted<br \/>\nowner was nowhere to be seen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Officials left a notice indicating that the facility had been<br \/>\nclosed for unlawfully engaging the services of a person who is not registered<br \/>\nand licensed as a medical practitioner.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The operation then moved to another facility allegedly owned<br \/>\nby Lawrence King\u2019atwa within the same area. Both Life Clinic and Jamii Centre<br \/>\nare allegedly owned by the same person. In the company of police officers,<br \/>\nKMPDC officials forced entry into Jamii Clinic premises.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Inside, they found a patient who had been left unattended and<br \/>\nin pain. The patient was rescued, and the facility shut down.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cWe have had a crackdown and we have closed down two of his<br \/>\nfacilities. One of them was repainted, the guy has run away\u2026 this is somewhere<br \/>\nelse where he operates from,\u201d\u00a0KMPDC\u00a0Board Member\u00a0Tim Theuri<br \/>\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Citizen TV on Thursday aired a story about a suspected medical<br \/>\nnegligence at Life Clinic, where Amos Isoka underwent a dental operation that<br \/>\nhas now left him with a life-threatening condition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cThe condition he suffered is called Ludwig\u2019s angina. After<br \/>\nthe tooth was removed, he got a swelling. This is a dental condition that can<br \/>\nlead to death, and that is why he was speaking with difficulty\u2026 The doctors at<br \/>\nKNH are working on him in theatre and as we speak wameanza kutoa huo<br \/>\nusaha,&#8221; said Theuri.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Amos is now under special medication at Kenyatta National<br \/>\nHospital (KNH), with his family reporting positive progress.
